Welcome to Bella Vista Chalet, a Four Season Resort located in the heart of the Masthope Mountain Community in the Northern Poconos. Offering year round activities, in winter you can enjoy Ski Big Bear Mountain, Skiing, Snowboarding and Snow tubing, or just cozy up to the wood fireplace and stay warm. By summer enjoy the peaceful surroundings on the porch, take advantage of the lake access for a swim or enjoy the outdoor pools and slides.

If you would like to purchase amenity passes that would allow access to pools, beach, stables and miniature golf, the cost is $10 per person for each day of use. Passes can be purchased upon arrival at the Office. All the other amenities are still of use to everyone without a guest pass. For Spring Renters:
The outdoor pool opens on Memorial Day weekend and then it's only open on the weekends until they go full time which is usually around the 3rd week of June. The lake will be accessible but without lifeguards or boat rentals also until they go full time sometime in June. So you can fish the lake from the shoreline, and a fishing license is required. The horseback riding/stables and petting zoo will be open but it's always best to call ahead since weather plays a big part in what is open and not. The hiking trails are always open, the riverfront is available and the playgrounds/ball fields/courts are always open.

Summary: The stay at Bella Vista was everything as advertised! The place was clean, peaceful and close to community amenities. We enjoyed the fireplace and watching the deer walk by the windows and driveway. The host was very responsive with any questions we had. We look forward to coming back in the summer or fall next time.

Summary: We had to add extra day to booking and owner was very accommodating. Responded quickly to all requests. All simple issues like regulating heat and finding firewood. Great modern appliances. Central location with all sorts of amenities on site. We will rent again same time next year to visit friends in area.

Summary: Overall a great stay. The only issue we had was the gravel driveway. Since we all were on motorcycles. But the neighbor came over and let us all park in his driveway since it was paved! The house was very clean and cozy. Beds were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend. Also our host was very friendly and helpful. She responded very quickly to any and all of our questions.
